It
is the best interests of your cat, yourself and your neighbors
if he is neutered or she is spayed. Without the powerful urge
to procreate, your cat will be a much more docile creature
to handle. There will be no more spraying by the male and
no more “screaming” behavior displayed by the
female when in season.
The decision to neuter must be made early. Male cats neutered
after they have reached adulthood may retain the habits of
the un-neutered male and continue to spray. Ask your vet’s
advice on when is the best time to neuter or spay your kitten.
