The importance of spaying and neutering
......look at these adorable little babies.

Look at their little faces and look in to their eyes.

Millions of faces just like those are being put down in shelters because people STILL are not spaying and neutering. There just are not enough homes for all the cats and kittens! Within a 7 yr. period one female, not spayed, is capable of causing the cat population a half million kitties! Her litter has litters, that litter has litters and the figures multiple at an unbelievable rate!

Beyond the tragedy of shelter deaths is what happens to the ones that don't make death row at the shelters. Without homes and loving families they set about having to fend on their own, Here they face a life of pain, suffering and cruelty. Some end up starving to death, others getting sick and dying terrible deaths, some abused and or tortured by people, some eaten by coyotes, taken by owls, ripped from ear to ear by raccoons, hit by cars and left to die. The list goes on.

Please look at the icon with those precious little faces and do spay and neuter. Let us not be a part of the problem. Let us stand tall and proud by being a part of the solution. Should you see a stray cat pick it up and get it spayed or neutered. If you cannot get near it, should it be too afraid or feral, go to www.petfinder.com, e-mail any rescue group in your area. They could help you or direct you to someone who can.

Thanks and God bless!
